Repairs / Servicing can be facilitated in our workshop on dampers between 500mm and 1450mm diameter.

We are also an on site service. The advantages of this being that the damper does not have to be transported so two way road haulage is eliminated.

A radical reduction in the time factor providing you with improved flexibility in arranging such repairs. Quality control using classification societies or your own inspectors may be easier to arrange.

Such time cost aspects would, of course be improved dramatically where sites or refitting locations are outside the UK.

Basic overhaul can be generally completed within 24 hours at no extra cost.

Holset-type viscous dampers are our speciality but dampers produced by other manufacturers such as S.T.E. and Hasse and Wrede can also be serviced or repaired using high quality bearing materials and silicone fluid.

Operating independently without the restrictions of a larger organisation, it should generally be possible to meet any occasional urgency, also without the more substantial overheads, servicing charges can be maintained at a lower level.

Engine Torsional Vibration Damper Service

In order to maintain the operational protection for your engine against torsional vibration it is necessary to have the vibration damper checked by means of a fluid sample taken from the damper, this will be analysed in our laboratory and a report produced as to the condition of the internal workings of the damper. With this information, forecasts can be given as to the projected efficiency of protection.
